April, 2014 - Escapees's Escapade - Goshen, Indiana

April, 2014  - Elkhart Campground - this is one to put on our list of places to stay while in the Elkhart, and Goshen, Indiana area.

Went on a bus trip to a camel farm.  They are making soap out of the camel's milk, and it is pretty good stuff.  Bought four bars.

We went on a brown bag bus tour.  We have gone on many bus trips before but this one was totally unusual.  When boarding we were each given a brown bag.   Little did we know at the time we were going to be given goodies from each of the stops we toured.    Yes, like a loaf (each) of bread from the bread store, the cheese factory, given a bag of Dutch Country Noodles, Yoder microwave popcorn, and I bought cheese, soap from the camel farm, given samples at the Amish school house, and bought meat at the meat market.  What a wonderful day.  I asked if everyone of our tour guide's trip were this much fun, she just laughed and said "I'm glad you enjoyed yourself".  Did we ever, it will be a day trip we are not likely to forget for a very long time.

A video was made of the Crossville, Tn. rally.  The East Coast Rally brings out some of the big trucks.  Not only will these pull the size R.V.s we are pulling but these trucks will also STOP
these R.V.s.
